2008 Seven Poplars Pinotage

Pinotage is a South African variety which is a hybrid of Pinot Noir and Cinsault.  This is a great example of a Pinotage albeit a bit far from it’s homeland. Our Pinotage is a truly distinctive wine, not easily categorized.  The rich and jammy character is followed up with hints of cedar and spice.  Only 125 cases made. 

13.8% alc/vol 750 ml.
