2008 Seven Poplars Chardonnay

Seven Poplars denotes our premium wines – those created from select barrels and from select vineyards.

The Chardonnay grapes at Lake Breeze grow in soil with a clay content of more than 80%. These difficult growing conditions ensure that tonnage levels are never higher than 2 tons per acre.

This wonderfully complex wine is fermented and then age in new French oak barrels for seven months.  Look for a lemon/lime palate and subtle hints of vanilla with a buttery texture.
