The owners of Lake Breeze are a bunch of financial folks – bankers and CA’s. Their main concern is making sure Lake Breeze wines and the Lake Breeze experience meet the expectations of our customers. They are bullish about the increasing quality and acceptance of B.C and Canadian wine. Gary Reynolds Gary Reynolds, the operating partner – he’s the one with the dirty fingernails and new calluses. He does pretty much everything, and can just as easily be found in between the rows of vines as in the office. Garron Elmes Our winemaker Garron is a native of South Africa who has now attained his Canadian citizenship. He has been with Lake Breeze since 1995. Garron took his formal training in South Africa at Elsenburg Agricultural College where he gained two diplomas, Cellar Technology and Viticulture. He would be the first to tell you that the on the job learning in Canada was as tough as school—working with a young vineyard, new grapes and a distinctly different climate. He has clearly mastered his adopted surroundings, crafting beautiful wines with a consistent fruit forward style. In addition, Garron also fills the role of Production Manager and liases with our family of growers here on the Naramata Bench. Coming off six medals from recent Okanagan Wine Festivals, Garron is optimistic that the current portfolio of Lake Breeze wines is as good as ever. He hopes you enjoy every glass! Launa Maundrell Launa Maundrell is the Manager of Operations & Customer Services for Lake Breeze. She oversees the friendly and knowledgeable staff in our tasting room and on The Patio. As a serious wine geek, she is happiest spending time talking with our customers in the tasting room -- she knows her stuff and won’t be satisfied unless you have taken away new knowledge of our wines and the Naramata Bench from your Lake Breeze visit. Alas, there is more to the wine business than just the wine, and she also makes time for other internal operations such as purchasing, marketing, HR and managing our on-site lodging. terry kaiser T.K. is our sales representative for the Okanagan Valley and B.C. Interior. As an avid follower of the local music scene, and a bit of a musician himself, he is the driving force behind bringing live music to the The Patio at Lake Breeze. In addition to making sure you can find Lake Breeze wines at your favourite retail store and on local restaurant wine lists, T.K. is currently working on a Lake Breeze concert series. Stay tuned!
